What are polunucleotides?
Polynucleotides are advanced injectable gels composed of nucleotides, the fundamental building blocks of DNA and RNA. In aesthetic medicine, they are valued for their regenerative properties, working at a cellular level to repair and revitalise the skin. Once injected, they stimulate collagen production, improve skin firmness, restore hydration, and, when used under the eyes, help to reduce dark circles and puffiness for a brighter, refreshed appearance.
What can be treated with polynucleotides?
-
Skin rejuvenation – improving texture, elasticity, crepey skin and overall radiance
-
Acne scarring and uneven texture – promoting smoother, healthier skin
-
Pigmentation and sun damage – encouraging repair and evening skin tone
-
Under-eye concerns – reducing dark circles, crepiness, puffiness
-
Skin hydration
When will I see results from polynucleotides?
Results develop gradually over a period of weeks and months. The best results are usually seen around 60 days after completing the full course of treatments.
How many treatment sessions will I need?
Most patients will require a course of three treatments, spaced 2–4 weeks apart.
In order to maintain results a single session is typically recommended every 6 months.
